Midwest Regional Poison Interest Group (MR PIG) - Online Continuing Medical Education (CME) Courses
Welcome to the Midwest Regional Poison Interest Group’s Online CME learning program. The goal of this program is to provide physicians, nurses and pharmacists with up to date, practical information on the diagnosis and treatment of poisoning exposures. Each course is approved for 1 hour of continuing medical education. Please note that Hennepin County Medical Center sponsors the CME credits and the Pharmacist CE is sponsored by Hennepin County Regional Poison Center and is for Minnesota licensed pharmacists only. Topics are selected based on news in the medical and public media and from evaluation feedback. If you have a topic of interest for a future course, please note it on the evaluation form upon completion of a current course. After you have registered and completed a course, “Online CME” will keep track which courses you have completed as well as retaining your book marks and notes in case you want to go back.

Poison centers are staffed with specially trained pharmacists and nurses that work with physicians board certified in toxicology.
